Tri-Society Stone Soup Celebration!
This year NoVES members will have a second option for Stone Soup! WES is generously hosting a Tri-Society event for the Northern VA, Baltimore and Washington Ethical Societies. Here are the details from WES:
Sunday, November 22, 2026 starting at 10:30
Hosted by Washington Ethical Society
7750 Sixteenth St, NW Washington, DC 20012
The magic of Stone Soup is that when we each share a little, then together we have a lot!
Everyone should bring:
1) a stone
2) a single whole vegetable to add to the pot/bowl during the platform skit
3) soup or salad vegetable contributions pre-chopped and in a container
After platform, we'll join together in a Stone Soup and Salad feast! To make the feast complete, please bring something to share. You're invited to bring one of the following types of dish based on your last name, but if there's something you particularly want to share feel free to bring that even if it isn't your assignment.
A-F: Cider
G-M: Bread (sliced) (marked gluten free)
N-R: Butter/Cheese
S-Z: Dessert
Please register so we will know how many NoVES Members and friends are attending this event. If you want to car pool, please send email to chris@cmvd.us.
