Our mission as a community is to promote ethical behavior through educational experiences and social activism.

We give our students the tools to become good world citizens who contribute to making the world a better place.

We believe in providing our children with a welcoming environment and a program that is both spiritually fulfilling and fun.  Sometimes kids just need to be kids!

    Please join us for our annual clean up event. This year we will join in the Fairfax County Invasive Species Removal Program at  McLean Central Park on Saturday, March 29, 2025.  10am to 12 noon at the Dolley Madison Library in McLean, VA.  

    For this event, you will need to wear layers of clothing to keep warm and heavy shoes.  We will be walking through brush.  Please bring water to drink.  There will be tools and gloves available but you are free to bring your own if you have them.  

    Volunteers are needed but there is a limit so you must sign up as soon as possible to attend this event.  Registrations will be closed once the event is full.  You will receive more details after you register.  Here is link to use- once you are on the page, search for Mclean March 29 event:

I'm Kristen Hayden, your Director of Ethical Education (DEE)! I am dedicated to building a supportive, inclusive community for the next generation of ethical humanists and their parents. I'm excited to bring my background in education and passion for the NOVES community to this role.
