Join other NoVES members as we participate in a peaceful protest on a pedestrian bridge over Highway 495, on Tuesday, January 6 2026, 3:00 to 4:30 pm. We will participate with an organization called the Bridge Brigade who will have signs for 'Day of Disgrace' and 'Immigrants are our neighbors' and other messages to be determined. Your own signs welcome; please no profanity. Bring American flags, wear patriotic colors, bring a hat and water! Note: Limited accessibility. There is a 0.2 mile walk from parking to the pedestrian bridge. And remember to dress for the weather and bring water and snacks as needed for yourself!!!
Directions to Pedestrian Bridge: Access to the bridge and parking lots are from Audrey Moore Rec Center. GPS address: 8100 Braddock Rd., Annandale, VA 22003. Park in the furthest lot with the Rec Center building. The bridge is past the parking lot, further down Wakefield Park Dr. than the rec center. You will see fencing for the access ramp to the pedestrian bridge on the right.
