Contact RosemaryZiskind to reserve a ticket at rpziskind@yahoo.com or phone: 703-405-7892.

We will meet at the Arrival Hall no later than 11:00.   There are three parking lots, all just a few minutes walk from Arrival Hall.

Address: 12100 Glen Rd. Potomac, MD. (301)983-5001) Please note there is Utility work on Glen Road through August.  Allow extra travel time.

Glenstone Museum, founded  by Emily and Mitch Rales, opened in 2006. It was expanded in 2013 which was opened to the public in 2018.  The museum houses  a world-class postwar and contemporary art collection and  offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience “the integration of art, architecture and nature in a serene and contemplative environment.”

NoVES has tickets to timed entry to the museum and grounds at 11:15am. There is an optional guided tour of outdoor sculptures at 1pm daily weather permitting although many sculptures can be seen without taking the scheduled walk on the Woodland Trail.

Touring the Pavilion and Galleries provide an atmosphere to interact in a meaningful way—a calming, “slowing down” to appreciate the art and its surroundings because of limited signage on the displays and timed entry to limit visitors. Children 12 and older are welcome.

Bring hats and water.  There is a snack bar and a cafe on site for those who wish to eat during the visit.
