Please join us on Sunday, August 31, 2025, for our NoVES annual Labor Day weekend picnic. This year it will be located in Lake Fairfax Park at Picnic Shelter I. This is a covered shelter right next to a lovely lake, and has nearby parking and restroom facilities. Drinks and tableware will be provided by NoVES.
Please bring your choice of picnic food for your family and something to share. You are also welcome to bring games and crafts. We have the shelter from 10am to 6:30pm, so join us whenever you can, but we hope most of you can be there between 11am -1pm for lunch! And if your family is interested, you can pay a fee to go to the Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole water park that is also on the property.
Lake Fairfax Park is located at 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston, VA. 20190. Please register so we can know how many to expect and alert registrants to any changes or cancellations for this event. Please note: Park is open rain or shine, unless there are lightning and thunderstorms. Check the NoVES Website at 9:00am on August 31, 2025, for an update on possible weather related closures.
