Dear Members and Friends,
The arch of the American Dream has been expansive. Increasingly including more people and groups in our Democracy, expanding individual rights, and offering services to those who cannot afford it, both at home and abroad. These concepts have expanded to include our natural environment and our planet as well.
In our present political environment, these liberties and human rights are under attack. The Executive Branch, Congress, and to some extent the Judiciary are rolling back individual rights, concern for the environment, and programs that serve others.
Come to this discussion to unpack our political state of affairs and identify avenues of resistance and collective action.
