America is rocked by the politics of outrage. Political propaganda and discourse stoke the flames of fear escalating every action to a crisis. Vilification of opponents is common place. All this political chaos distracts from the existential threat to democracy posed by the “Stop the Steal” movement. This is overlaid on a global pandemic and an ever-deepening climate crisis.
