Join us for our Sunday Platform with Chris DeRosa from the League of Women Voters of Fairfax as she will talk about gerrymandering and the proposed Virginia redistricting constitutional amendment.
Find out how this amendment, if approved by voters in November, will change the way redistricting is done in Virginia. The presentation will include an explanation of the commission that will be created, how the commission members are selected, and how the committee will function. We will also briefly examine additional bills that were passed in 2020 that state further criteria that the commission would follow. A short Q&A session will follow.\
