Values are stressed and challenged during times of crisis. We are currently experiencing simultaneous crises: COVID-19, the Climate Crisis, and the political crisis of a corrupt and incompetent government. How does this change my humanist viewpoint, how I express my values, and how connect with others? I will attempt to sort this out in my platform talk.
The Zoom invitation to this meeting is included below.
To join a Zoom meeting, you can go to the Zoom website (zoom.us) or click on the "Join Zoom Meeting" link in your meeting invitation, where you'll be prompted to run the Zoom app, which you can install via the ZoomLauncher.zip file that automatically downloads. This will allow you to connect video and sound from your computer or smartphone. You can also dial-in by phone via the phone numbers included in the invitation (audio only).
I realize that ZOOM technology is new for many of you. I will be on the conference early and will be able to help people get on the videocall. You can also call me at 919-490-6304 for assistance (try to do so before the meeting).
I look forward to seeing some of you on for my platform talk on Sunday.
Yours in Ethical Community,
Randy
