SUPER MOON SUNDAY

What is a Supermoon, and why is it super? Come to the Friends of Arlington's Planetarium event on Sunday, March 8th to find out!

Join us at the Arlington Mill Community Center, Room 527A/B, for a special, family friendly program of activities, demonstrations, and a highly informative talk by Dr. Angela Stickle, a planetary scientist from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. You, too, can be a SuperMoon expert!

Attendance at this event is free!  Space is limited, but you can reserve tickets online at: https://friendsoftheplanetarium.ticketleap.com/supermoon-science-sunday

Please note this event is NOT being held at the David M Brown Planetarium:

The David M. Brown Planetarium is closed temporarily for about a year and a half beginning Wednesday, November 27th, 2019 while the adjacent building is renovated to provide additional classroom space for Arlington Public Schools.  The expected reopening is September 2021.
