Touching Heart - Art of Giving Workshop

Allison Gallagher, Outreach Director of the Touching Heart Organization, will be leading our society thru an Art of Giving Workshop. Participants will learn about issues that local kids in need face everyday.  Participants will then work together on a service project, so they can understand how easy it is to help someone in need and gain a desire to have a positive impact on the world.  As a group, we will be assembling 12 fleece blankets to be donated to children in the local foster care system. Please join us to learn more about this great organization and to help us model "deed before creed" as a society.

Touching Heart believes our children will shape the future of our world. That is why we aim to equip every child we encounter with the tools to be compassionate and loving leaders of tomorrow. Through our Art of Giving Workshops, youth of all ages learn how they can make a difference by sacrificing their time and energy to help those living in less fortunate circumstances. Looking to the future, we hope to see a world of people who care for one another, are willing to sacrifice for the greater good and teach their children the importance of turning their compassion into action!
