Join us for our annual celebration of the winter season. Our program will consist of a community service project and other fun activities and a potluck lunch. Non-members as well as members are encouraged to attend.
Set up will begin at 10:00 am. Please consider volunteering to help the Week 2 setup team.
Potluck Contributions:
A through R: please bring salads and side dishes serving at least 8 people.
S through Z: please bring desserts
The Society will provide the main dishes and beverages.
Ethical Action event:
If you were not able to contribute money to purchasing the items needed for the baby boxes, please consider buying some items to bring:
Diapers: newborn-sized, or one size larger
Diaper wipes
Onesies –white or other neutral color (newborn or next size up)
Socks
Mittens
Tweezers
Baby nail cutters
Small cardboard books
Burp cloths
Pacifiers
Baby thermometers
The boxes will not all have the same items, so there is no set number you have to buy of any item. We are hoping to create at least 25 boxes for new mothers in Fairfax County.
