Climate change and associated global warming and sea level rise are now on the near-term horizon. These changes will cause mass migration of people, increased competition for water and land capable of producing food, and extreme social disruption and conflict threatening millions. To avoid the worst of these consequences, do we have a moral obligation to look toward scientific solutions to cool the planet?
