This course focuses on the life of Felix Adler, from his youth to what led him to found Ethical Culture as a non-theistic religion in 1876, and the institution of the Ethical Culture Movement in the late 1800’s. Sources of Felix Adler’s inspiration and his foundational ideas will be presented and discussed.
