Randy Best - Embracing the Turn

I want to respond to others with openness, empathy, and inclusion.   Sometimes, rooted in my own perspective, I do not realize that the impact of my actions is different than my intent.  I may not have intended to exclude or offend, but that has been the impact of what I said or did.  When called out (or in), I need to be able to make the turn, to not respond with defensiveness or dismissiveness.  I must strive to embrace the perspective of someone else, to learn, and to grow from it, and to act more consistently with my humanist values.  Come learn more about this process of change.
