The Secular Coalition for America’s Lobby Day brings nontheists from across the country to Washington, DC to lobby members of Congress and their staff, in person, about issues impacting the separation of church and state.
Our Lobby Day gives you the opportunity to:
- Learn to lobby your representatives
- Shape public policy and make a real impact
- Meet with lawmakers and their staff
- Network with like-minded secular leaders
In-person lobbying from constituents is still the most effective method for reaching elected officials. In the second year of the Trump Administration and year of the 2018 midterm elections, it is more important than ever that secular Americans make their voices heard on Capitol Hill.
On Tuesday, April 24th, the evening before our Lobby Day, we will host our third annual Secular Awards Dinner. At this exclusive event, we will honor the sitting Members of Congress, state lawmakers, and activists who have fought for secular Americans. This event is your opportunity to become a DC insider and meet the individuals leading the fight to preserve our secular government.
