October Opportunities

Join us in October for some thoughtful and perhaps eye-opening events at NoVES.  First, on Oct. 4, we will hear from a Death Doula, and find out more about this fascinating profession. This meeting will be in-person only due to the technical difficulties we have been experiencing with hybrid meetings. 

Next,  on Oct. 11, we will have a Zoom only meeting.  This one will be led by our member, Jim Ball, who will test our knowledge with a trivia game. It is a great way to learn about what is happening in our region and world, and also have a lot of fun!

Finally on Oct 18, we will gather in person at Green Hedges School for a fun Fall Festival event. Please check the website and newsletters for more details of all these events in the days to come!

You will also have an opportunity to donate a worthy cause in October, Food for Neighbors.  You can find the list of needed items on our website.  Please bring any items to one of the in-person meetings on Oct 4 or 18.  Donations of cash are also appreciated, and Dorothy will shop for the needed items.
