We have all been through a very bleak month of cold weather, chaos in our government and unfathomable tragedies in our nation. I have been feeling frustrated and deflated, and can hardly watch the news anymore.  But there have been some bright spots of hope along the way, including seeing so many coming out for the People's March in DC, and attending a successful Democracy Day in Richmond.   There is much more to do, but it is a start. 

But through all of this turmoil, the most important part for me has been to see how people have been reaching out and providing assistance.  I have witnessed so many NoVES members helping each other through it all, and it makes me feel very happy. I hope during the month of February that we can gather together and find even more ways to support each other and our community. And if you are a member or friend of NoVES in need of support, please reach out.  We are all in this together!
