Help NoVES Raise Funds
We depend entirely on donations -- from members and friends of the Society -- to fund our work. Please consider making a contribution if you are able. The Northern Virginia Ethical Society is a nonprofit organization, and your contributions are fully tax-deductible. Checks may be sent to:

In addition, there are a number of ways you can help the Northern Virginia Ethical Society with your purchases. The organizations below not only offer funds to NoVES for each item bought, but they offer worthwhile items for your consideration.

GoodShop For online shopping or travel planning, if you start your expedition at GoodShop and register NoVES as your cause, you can search for stores (everything from Bed, Bath & Beyond to Macy’s to L.L. Bean), search for products, search for coupons, or search for travel sites like Expedia.com or Hotels.com. If you end up buying anything, a portion of the amount you spend will be rebated to NoVES. |

Scrip & Gift Card Sales You can contribute to the Society without cost to yourself by purchasing scrip (coupons or gift cards) from Safeway, Giant, Shoppers Food Warehouse, or Magruders, and now Home Depot, Starbucks, and Barnes and Noble, on Sunday mornings during coffee hour. The Society buys this scrip at a discounted price and provides it at face values for members; the difference is a donation to the Society. Many report that it's easier to use the cards to buy at the store, versus using a credit card or check. |

Members and visitors are also invited to check out Great Lakes Scrip Center and their ShopWithScrip program, and place special orders for scrip from many more merchants. If you log in and make sure that NoVES is specified as the merchant, and order and pay by Sunday evening of any week, we can usually have the order at the next Sunday platform meeting. You can also sign up for their PrestoPay option (takes a few days to finish so that there's adequate security), you can pay directly on the site and for many merchants (including Amazon.com and Home Depot, for example), get instant gift certificates, no waiting (more info). Or instantly reload some cards (more info). [Coordinators: this is your link] |
